Download Eddie’s Book 'The Gilberd North Hill'

Towards the end of 1985 Eddie and the late Steve Turner published a pictorial history of the Gilberd at North Hill. Eddie gathered together a wonderful selection of images from 1912 to 1985 that told the story of school life through the years.

Steve, who sadly died last year, included a selection of photos he had taken on his return to the school in 1982. His images are incredibly evocative and really capture the school in a time of transition. Steve wrote that he hoped his photos would be 'a record of enduring interest' and we think they most certainly are.
