Gilberd Pupils on Anglia Television in 1966

This is one of the earliest press clippings about the school that we have on file.

A team of pupils from the Gilberd appeared on Anglia Television on the 14th December 1966 in the natural history programme 'Nature Trail'. 

The students taking part were (from left to right) Nigel Bunting, Valerie Cane, Antoinette Walters and David Jones. They were competing against students from the Notre Dame High School in Northampton. Does anyone remember how they got on?
