Gilberd School Life in the 1970s

This is the penultimate post of photos from Eddie's collection and it's a nice selection of images capturing aspects of Gilberd School life in the 1970s. Some of these photos were featured in the recent Gazette article but the majority are new and unseen for forty odd years.  

The first photo below features Mrs Hales’ fifth year students. Mrs Hales taught RE and her girls called themselves 'Hales Angels'. If you are amongst the 'angels' or recognise yourself or friends in any of these photos do post a comment below.
